In a pre-emptive effort to stave off a wave of e-mails that I can't possibly respond to, here are a few frequently asked questions I've been getting.

• Are the Androids really sold out again?
  
  Yes! Thank you all! The demand continued to be unprecedented. Despite a larger second shipment you managed to snatch them all up pretty quickly. Congrats to the nearly 2,000 of you from dozens of couebntries who were able to acquire some Android love!
  
  
• Did you even ever put them on sale? I never saw them in stock!
  
  We added stock almost 20 different times over a week, including a pre-sale to a few lucky newsletter subscribers.  We released them at all different times of the day and night.
  
  A few minutes after we made them available, they would be sold out. Finding them available at just the right time involved a little bit of luck, and a little bit of work!
  
  
• Why didn't you release them all at once?
  
  This would have caused huge shipping and order processing delays and inevitable over-selling. We are a very very small company, most of the orders are packed and shipped by just one person (who apparently needs to sleep now and then, I'll look into upgrading her).
  
  
• I had some in my shopping cart, but then they were gone by the time I finished checkout!
  
  Orders are not finalized until payment is processed. This means that someone was able to check out before you with the last of the remaining stock. Unfortunately this is just how most shopping cart software works.
  
  
• Why didn't you make more this time?
  
  We did! Although not an unlimited quantity, it is still a Limited Edition Collectible. It wouldn't be very limited edition or collectible if we just kept making them now would it?
  
  
• Didn't everyone just buy them to resell on eBay for more?
  
  Based on feedback I'd say most of the purchases were from legitimate Android lovers! Limiting the quantity of purchases really helped get more Androids into the hands of honest fans. But there are always going to be a few unscrupulous individuals who leverage the whole supply vs demand thing to their advantage. There is little we can do to stop them, it's up to you to not support them!
  
  
  
• Look, I only need one. It's for my sick grandmother and/or girlfriend's birthday. Please help me?

• Well, what now? I still need some Androids!
  
  Well, good news! Standard Green Androids will be available on a regular basis starting this Fall, and we'll definitely have some more Do It Yourself Androids back as well... along with some new and exciting things we can't tell you about yet!
  
  
• Will there be a Series 2?
  
  Yes! We're already working on it! Look for a whole new set of Androids from a variety of artists in early 2011.
  
  
• Can I order wholesale or my shop/business/company.
